Today I received an email that said this:

“Trying to sift through the rift raft. Any personal referrals?”

This person was looking for help and when I sent him to the /inquire/ page on Credo, he came back with that answer. So I dug a bit deeper and learned that he’s been burned before and didn’t trust that page.

So I reworked it, adding my face and a trust signal at the bottom, also letting him know that his information would be private and how people get onto Credo.

He still wanted personal referrals so I made them, but I also made you this video. The password is CredoPlus!

Social proof is insanely important in our world exactly because there are so many hooligans and untrustworthy people in our space. This is why so many marketers show the brands they work with, create case studies, and give specific examples about work they’ve done – it builds trust with potential customers.
